Design
All of our products are designed by our employees at BERG. After developing a prototype and going through extensive testing, the new pedal kart is taken into production. Quality and design are our top priorities!

Safety
Parents should not have to worry about the safety of toys. Children should be able to enjoy playtime. That’s why safety is key for all BERG products; it's taken into consideration from the development stage of a new product.

Tests
BERG represents top quality. Children are able to enjoy years of fun with our products. That’s why we set high quality standards for our products. BERG conducts internal quality control on all of its products, subjecting the pedal karts to extreme conditions. In addition to our internal testing, BERG submits its products to quality control; which test real people in action. As a result of the tests, the products are certified in accordance with international standards and legislation.

Environment
BERG takes responsibility for its role as a global citizen. Sustainability is an important term for us. We do our best to be as eco-friendly, as possible, in our production. We devote time and attention to the little details, as well as, the bigger components.

Enjoy playing outdoors!

‘On my parents’ farm of course we always played outside. Eventually the time to play was past, and I started thinking about a holiday job. I decided to build a go-kart in my holiday.’

The first BERG pedal kart was created with a few pipes, wooden planks, wheelbarrow wheels, pedals and a chain from the cycle shop; this kart was sold before it was finished. The entrepreneurial spirit had been awakened.

‘If I could build one, why not another one? Or two, or three, or ........ many? In the next summer holiday I built around twenty go-karts, which I displayed for sale in the garden in front of our farm.'

And so BERG was created. BERG has since grown to become the world’s market leader in pedal karts. You can inspect the BERG pedal karts at one of our dealers, and of course you can take a test drive!

BERG would like children to play actively outdoors as much as possible. That’s why the younger kids are not left out! For them, BERG developed the Junior line, so that the first pedal kart is already waiting for them at a very young age.

‘We work from a very clear drive. Focused on children, conscious of our environment, we want to do our bit for the development of these children. We have expressed this in BERG ’ mission.’
